About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll craft smooth, beautiful, and scalable user-facing products. You'll collaborate closely with design and product to deliver intuitive UI/UX that feels native to Web3 while remaining accessible to mainstream users.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, high-performance frontends using React/Next.js and TypeScript.
• Seamlessly integrate blockchain features like wallet login, transactions, and on-chain data.
• Collaborate with the design team to deliver fast and delightful user experiences.
• Optimize performance across various devices and browsers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React/Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks.
• Experience integrating Web3 libraries (ethers.js, wagmi, WalletConnect).
• A keen eye for design and detail, with the ability to work effectively with product teams.

Qualifications:

Frontend Development

• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for ZetaChain's web applications using React/Next.js.
• Implement seamless integration of blockchain functionalities, including wallet login, transaction handling, and on-chain data display.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience aligned with ZetaChain's brand and vision.
• Optimize application performance across various devices and browsers to deliver a smooth and efficient user experience.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable UI components and design systems.

Web3 Integration

• Leverage Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, wagmi, WalletConnect) to enable secure and reliable blockchain interactions within the frontend.
• Stay abreast of emerging Web3 technologies and best practices to ensure ZetaChain's applications remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain integration, ensuring a seamless user experience.

ZetaChain's hiring process for a Frontend Engineer begins with a review of submitted applications. Candidates whose experience aligns with the requirements will be invited for a technical phone screen. This initial conversation will assess their understanding of frontend technologies and Web3 integration.

Successful candidates will then participate in a virtual coding challenge, demonstrating their ability to build functional and efficient frontend components.

Finally, shortlisted candidates will engage in a series of interviews with the team, including discussions about design principles, collaborative workflows, and their passion for building user-centric experiences within the blockchain space.
