Founding Sales & Customer Success
CoGrader is a rapidly growing AI EdTech startup backed by UC Berkeley, revolutionizing education by empowering teachers with more time to focus on what matters most: teaching. We are seeking a driven and passionate Founding Sales & Customer Success Team Member to join our mission.
About the Role:
As a Founding Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping CoGrader's growth trajectory. You will be responsible for driving 30% month-over-month revenue growth by managing the sales pipeline and closing deals. You will also spearhead Customer Success initiatives, focusing on renewals, cross-selling, and fostering strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand within existing accounts and turn teacher champions into school-wide adoptions.
- Build and maintain a robust CRM system and leverage sales tools effectively.
- Create compelling marketing and sales materials.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- 2-6+ years of proven experience in K12 SaaS sales, consistently exceeding targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience with GenAI and a background in education is a strong asset.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary of US$35,000 plus uncapped commission.

Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our founding team as a Sales & Customer Success professional. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Proven Sales Track Record: 2-6+ years of experience in K12 SaaS sales with a demonstrable history of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluency in English and the ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Customer Success Mindset: Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with CRM systems and sales tools, with a strong understanding of the EdTech landscape.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Generative AI technologies.

- Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts and develop strategies to convert teacher champions into school-wide adoptions.
- Leverage CRM and sales tools effectively to track progress, analyze performance, and optimize sales processes.
- Collaborate with marketing to create compelling sales materials and content that resonate with the target audience.
Selection Process
