Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Blockchain Security Researcher to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the security of our platform and the broader Web3 ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze vulnerabilities in blockchain protocols and smart contracts.
• Develop cutting-edge security tools, including automated vulnerability scanners and security simulators.
• Embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain space.
• Contribute to the security knowledge base through documentation and community engagement.

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in EVM and blockchain security principles.
• Proven track record in smart contract auditing.
• Mastery of Web3 security tools and techniques (fuzzing, invariant testing, formal verification).
• Proficiency in Solidity and other blockchain programming languages.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a security-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in blockchain security research or smart contract auditing.

• Strong understanding of EVM architecture and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Identification: Conduct in-depth analysis of blockchain protocols and smart contracts to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Security Tool Development: Design and implement innovative security tools, such as automated vulnerability scanners and security simulators, to enhance the security posture of Tenderly's platform and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
• Security Best Practices: Integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure secure development practices are embedded throughout the process.
• Threat Monitoring & Analysis: Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain space, conducting proactive research and analysis to mitigate potential risks.
• Ecosystem Education: Contribute to the security knowledge base of the Web3 community through documentation, blog posts, presentations, and community engagement.
