Responsibilities:

• Manage daily system maintenance and customer support tickets.
• Debug and resolve production bugs.
• Optimize backend system performance and reliability.
• Refactor existing code, develop internal automations, and write comprehensive tests.
• Contribute to database migrations, CI improvements, and dependency upgrades.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of React.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Redis, GitHub Actions, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Contract:

• Month-to-month freelance with the potential to transition to a long-term hire.
• Minimum 4 hours per day, ideally 6-8 hours per day.
• Prioritizing candidates in Europe and Australia with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with Central European Time.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React and its core concepts.
• Excellent written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and communicate technical information clearly.
• A self-directed and autonomous work style, capable of managing your time and workload efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

Technical Development

MelodyIQ seeks a skilled freelance Mid-Level Backend Developer to join their remote team.

The hiring process begins with a review of applications, focusing on relevant experience and skills.
