We are seeking a talented and passionate Member of Technical Staff, Transparency to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing our platform's transparency and compliance capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop front-end and back-end solutions to improve the client onboarding experience.
- Build robust APIs to capture and manage critical data for record keeping and auditing purposes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of transaction monitoring and screening systems to detect risk, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
- Collaborate closely with compliance, customer experience, and legal teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience building complex distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.
- Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving business value.
- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals (concurrency, algorithms, and data structures).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
Bonus Points:
- Experience implementing regulatory compliance controls in the financial services industry.
- Design and implementation experience with GraphQL, gRPC, and Temporal.
- Comfort diving deep into open source projects to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining complex distributed systems.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, including code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing end-user experience and delivering business value.
- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals (concurrency, algorithms, and data structures).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing regulatory compliance controls within the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, and Temporal.
- Experience debugging and resolving issues in open-source projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust APIs: Design, implement, and document APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between Anchorage Digital's systems and client applications.
- Enhance transparency features: Build and improve user interfaces and functionalities that provide clients with clear and comprehensive insights into their account activity, transaction history, and asset holdings.
- Ensure data integrity and security: Implement and maintain data capture mechanisms to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with compliance, legal, customer experience, and product teams to ensure transparency features align with business objectives and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to system scalability and reliability: Participate in the design and implementation of scalable and reliable systems that can handle increasing transaction volumes and data demands.
