Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of all HR operations, from payroll and benefits administration to employee engagement and learning & development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll processing, statutory submissions, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Enhance employee experience through office administration, company-wide events, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Design and implement learning structures for employee upskilling, coordinate learning and development logistics, and manage HRDC claims and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist with performance management initiatives, compensation and benefits analysis, and organizational design.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar HR Generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and core HR operational functions.
  • Expertise in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Ability to learn internal HR platforms, blockchain/cryptocurrency industry knowledge, and domain expertise.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: RM9,481 per month

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in HR Operations or a similar HR Generalist role.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and core HR operational functions.
  • Expertise in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in utilizing HRIS systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations:

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and relevant labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Process employee requests and inquiries efficiently and effectively.

Employee Experience:

  • Plan and execute company-wide events and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate office administration tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.

Learning & Development:

  • Research and develop learning programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and workshops.
  • Manage HRDC claims and reporting related to employee development initiatives.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee concerns and promote a harmonious work environment.

Selection Process

2. Phone Screening: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a phone interview to assess their communication skills, experience, and cultural fit.

3. Online Assessment: Candidates will complete an online assessment to evaluate their analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills relevant to HR operations.

4. Video Interview: Top candidates will participate in a video interview with the HR team to delve deeper into their experience, motivations, and suitability for the role.

5. Final Interview: Selected candidates will be invited for a final interview with the hiring manager and potentially other team members. This interview will focus on behavioral questions, technical expertise, and cultural alignment.

6. Reference Checks: References will be contacted to verify the candidate's experience and work ethic.

7. Offer & Onboarding: The chosen candidate will receive a formal offer letter outlining the compensation and benefits package. Upon acceptance, the onboarding process will commence, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
