Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and lead generation.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas by effectively closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Utilize CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to manage customer interactions and track sales progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and support.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in B2B cold calling and outbound sales.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Experience with SaaS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the US trucking industry is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for success.
  • Must own a modern laptop with a working camera (not older than 3 years).

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in B2B cold calling and outbound sales.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in identifying customer needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Reliable access to a modern laptop with a working camera (3 years or newer).

Preferred:

  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
  • Familiarity with the US trucking industry.
  • CRM experience, particularly Salesforce.
  • Start-up environment experience.

Account Management

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients within the US trucking industry.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Identify customer needs and present tailored solutions leveraging Bobtail's platform.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and drive renewals.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., customer success, product) to address client concerns and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Bobtail's offerings.

Data & Reporting

  • Utilize CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to track sales activities, manage client information, and generate reports.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline progress, and key metrics.

Selection Process
