• Foster a collaborative environment, supporting engineers and optimizing development workflows.
• Effectively collaborate with team members across diverse time zones.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience building and managing high-performing SRE teams.
• Deep understanding of Linux and Unix Shell scripting.
• Expertise in configuration management systems and infrastructure automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies and the Web3/Blockchain landscape, particularly the Ethereum ecosystem.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will possess:

• 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical SRE teams, fostering a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.
• Proven expertise in Linux and Unix Shell scripting, with a strong understanding of system administration principles.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management systems (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies and the Web3/Blockchain ecosystem, particularly the Ethereum blockchain.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.

Technical Leadership & Infrastructure Management

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the SRE team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable infrastructure solutions for Livepeer's platform.
• Proactively identify and address potential infrastructure bottlenecks and risks, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline infrastructure management processes and reduce manual intervention.

Monitoring, Optimization & Collaboration

• Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure real-time visibility into system health and performance.
• Analyze system metrics and logs to identify areas for optimization and performance enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in SRE, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance Livepeer's infrastructure capabilities.
