About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Law Enforcement Request (LER) Liaison Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and handling global law enforcement cases, civil/criminal subpoenas, and other governmental or legal investigation requests. You will work closely with global teams to ensure timely and accurate responses while adhering to company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and handle global law enforcement requests, subpoenas, and other legal investigation requests.
• Review documents, extract relevant data, and prepare comprehensive responses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of requests.
• Assist with regulatory escalations from customer support.
• Maintain a high standard of quality in all work produced.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry.
• University degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Required:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency or blockchain technology.
• Skills:
  • Proven ability to evaluate and handle law enforcement requests, subpoenas, and other legal investigations.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.

Compliance Analyst Law Enforcement Requests Bulgaria - Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to global law enforcement requests, including subpoenas, warrants, and other legal process, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable Bulgarian and international laws.
• Conduct thorough reviews of customer data and transaction records to identify relevant information for requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, product, and engineering, to gather necessary information and prepare comprehensive responses.
• Maintain meticulous records of all requests received, actions taken, and communication with law enforcement agencies.
• Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory requirements related to cryptocurrency and financial crime compliance.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes for handling law enforcement requests.
