About the Role

As a Senior UX Content Writer, you'll be a key member of our multidisciplinary content and UX/UI design team. You'll collaborate closely with Product Design, User Research, and Project Management to shape the user experience for both event organizers and attendees.

Responsibilities

• Craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of platforms and touchpoints, including website pages, product interfaces, emails, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure content aligns with user needs and design principles.
• Develop and maintain content style guides and brand voice guidelines.
• Conduct user research and analyze data to inform content strategy and improve user experience.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in UX writing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a UX writer or content strategist, preferably in a technology company.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a variety of audiences.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and analyzing data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience as a UX Content Writer or similar role, with a proven track record of creating user-centered content for digital products.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices, including information architecture, content strategy, and user journey mapping.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and platforms.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, product, engineering, etc.).
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of UX writing samples, including microcopy, error messages, onboarding flows, and help content.

Preferred:

• Experience working in the event technology industry or with similar B2B SaaS products.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Passion for creating user-friendly and engaging experiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Content Creation

• Develop engaging and informative content for Eventbrite's website, product interfaces, emails, and marketing materials.
• Write user-friendly instructions, tutorials, and help articles to guide event organizers and attendees.
• Collaborate with product designers to ensure content aligns with user interface design and overall user experience.

UX Writing

• Create concise and user-centered microcopy for buttons, forms, error messages, and other interactive elements.
• Conduct user research and testing to understand user needs and pain points, informing content strategy and design.
• Contribute to the development of style guides and content guidelines to ensure consistency and brand voice across all platforms.

Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless content integration.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the ideation of new product features and content initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in UX writing and content strategy.
