About the Role

The Fetch Product Design team crafts the entire user experience for our app, from UX design to creative direction and production. We strive to create a fun and engaging experience that users love.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll lead design efforts within a focused, collaborative team. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of Fetch, ensuring our app remains intuitive, delightful, and rewarding for our users.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for new features and product improvements.
  • Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Advocate for user needs and ensure a consistent, delightful user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a product designer, with a proven track record of shipping successful products.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent visual design skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for creating innovative and user-friendly products.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of shipping successful products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Experience designing for mobile-first experiences, with a deep understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with data and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Passion for consumer products and the rewards industry.
  • Experience designing for e-commerce or loyalty programs.

Design & Execution

  • Lead the design process for new features and product improvements, from ideation to implementation.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure designs are user-centered and meet user needs.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support on their work.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
  • Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture within the team.

Selection Process
