Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality, long-form explainers, how-to guides, news analyses, and timely pieces with fast turnaround when needed.
• Conduct in-depth research across social media, industry platforms, and relevant sources to identify, develop, and report on compelling crypto stories.
• Cover a broad range of topics, including emerging technologies, market movements, regulatory developments, iGaming trends, crypto gambling, and price shifts.
• Produce insightful features, profile interviews, and analytical content with clarity and authority. (Video content experience is a bonus.)
• Maintain and refresh evergreen content to ensure factual accuracy, visual engagement, and alignment with current developments.
• Utilize AI tools to support, but never replace, original human-driven journalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of editorial or journalistic experience, preferably focused on cryptocurrency or related markets. Experience in iGaming is a plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing published long-form pieces and breaking news coverage, particularly in the crypto space.
• Proficiency in identifying emerging trends and sourcing stories through multiple channels, including social media.
• Strong research and fact-checking skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and accurately.
• Confidence in identifying and approaching key figures in the crypto space for interviews and insights.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to identify emerging trends and source compelling stories through diverse channels, including social media.
• Exceptional research and fact-checking skills, coupled with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and accurately for a broad audience.
• Confidence in engaging and interviewing key figures within the cryptocurrency industry to gather insightful perspectives and information.

Preferred:

• Experience producing video content related to cryptocurrency or finance.

• Produce insightful features, profile interviews, and analytical content, demonstrating expertise and clarity in communication. (Experience with video content is beneficial.)
• Maintain and update existing content to ensure factual accuracy, visual appeal, and alignment with current developments.
• Leverage AI tools strategically to enhance journalistic processes, while upholding the core principles of human-driven reporting.

Find.co begins the hiring process by reviewing applications for the Cryptocurrency Reporter position. Candidates with relevant experience, a strong portfolio showcasing crypto-focused writing, and proficiency in identifying emerging trends are shortlisted.

Shortlisted candidates are invited to complete a writing assessment, testing their ability to explain complex crypto concepts clearly and concisely. Successful candidates then participate in a virtual interview with the Editor and a member of the editorial team. This interview focuses on the candidate's passion for crypto, understanding of the industry, and ability to contribute to Find.co's collaborative environment.

Finally, selected candidates undergo a reference check to verify their experience and work ethic. The successful candidate is then offered the position and welcomed to the Find.co team.
