Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical foundation of our platform. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing the deployment strategy for our platform.
• Owning and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensuring optimal performance, migrations, and high availability for our PostgreSQL database.
• Implementing robust observability solutions for the platform and its workflows.
• Continuously striving for security, scalability, and cost efficiency in all aspects of our infrastructure.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of success.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure).
• Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and PostgreSQL administration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with workflow automation/orchestration and observability for LLMs is a plus.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Cloud Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and PostgreSQL administration.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

Preferred:

• Experience with workflow automation/orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with observability practices and tools specifically for Large Language Models (LLMs).

Technical Implementation

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on a chosen platform (AWS, Azure), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Proactively monitor and optimize PostgreSQL performance, implement data migrations, and ensure high availability.
• Integrate observability tools to gain deep insights into platform performance and workflow efficiency.

Security & Automation

• Champion security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
• Explore and implement workflow automation/orchestration solutions to streamline processes.

Aguru UK seeks a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their remote team.
