The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Lead / Software Architect to join our growing team in Brazil. In this role, you will lead a development team, champion technical excellence, and drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Spearhead the implementation of CI&T's new AI-powered development model, integrating Flow for enhanced efficiency.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to measure team maturity and identify areas for growth.
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable technical solutions, ensuring high quality standards.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in software engineering.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating technical concepts and business requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a technical leader, guiding and motivating development teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong Java development expertise with Spring Boot, specializing in web applications and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with React and front-end web development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a Software Architect with a strong foundation in Java development using Spring Boot, RESTful services, and web application development.
- Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Front-End Familiarity: Knowledge of React and web development best practices.
- Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams, effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.
- Client Focus: Experience acting as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AI/ML integration in software development.
Technical Leadership
- Guide and mentor a development team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Champion the adoption of CI&T's innovative AI-powered development model, "Flow," within the team.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to assess the team's engineering maturity and identify areas for growth.
Solution Design and Development
- Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable technical solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and high quality standards.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to established coding standards.
Client Collaboration
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Selection Process
