Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Admin and Support Specialist to join our growing team. You will be the voice of IxDF, providing exceptional written communication and support to our members and prospective learners across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, concise, and helpful written communication to members and learners.
  • Collaborate with the Editorial Team on writing and editorial projects.
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation, processes, and knowledge resources.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to enhance member services.
  • Communicate effectively with other teams to relay customer needs and insights.

  • Expert written and spoken English skills with a strong emphasis on clear, concise, and engaging writing.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or customer support role.
  • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and engaging content for various audiences.
  • Experience working with internal documentation and knowledge management systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Member & Learner Support:

  • Provide prompt and helpful written communication to members and prospective learners via email, chat, and other channels.
  • Troubleshoot member inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of FAQs and knowledge base articles.

Content & Operations:

  • Collaborate with the Editorial Team on various writing projects, including website content, marketing materials, and internal documentation.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across all written communications.
  • Maintain and update internal processes and documentation to improve operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Analyze workflows and identify areas for improvement in member services.
  • Proactively suggest solutions and implement changes to enhance the member experience.
  • Communicate effectively with other teams to relay member feedback and insights.

Selection Process

Interaction Design Foundation: Admin and Support Specialist Hiring Workflow
