We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and spearhead strategic partnerships that will fuel APX's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and close strategic partnerships with protocols, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and ecosystems to drive user acquisition and platform volume.
• Develop and nurture relationships with institutional traders, market makers, and crypto-native funds to increase platform liquidity and engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align business development efforts with product updates, campaigns, and community growth initiatives.
• Represent APX at key industry conferences, AMAs, Telegram communities, and hackathons to build brand visibility and foster strategic connections.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven business development or partnership experience within the perpetual DEX or futures industry.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, perpetual DEX mechanics, and market structure.
• Existing network of contacts within protocols, KOLs, and trading communities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent APX effectively at industry events and online communities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed team environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven Track Record: Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or partnerships within the perpetual DEX or futures industry.
• DeFi Expertise: Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, perpetual DEX mechanics, and market structures.
• Established Network: Existing network of contacts within the crypto space, including protocols, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and trading communities.
• Communication Prowess: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the company at industry events, panels, and online communities.
• Independent & Adaptable: Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed team environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with APX or similar decentralized exchanges.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, particularly BNB Chain and Arbitrum.
• Proven success in driving user acquisition and platform volume.

Business Development Activities

• Source, qualify, and secure strategic partnerships with DeFi protocols, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and relevant ecosystems to drive user acquisition and trading volume.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional traders, market makers, and crypto-native funds to enhance platform liquidity and user engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure business development initiatives align with product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and community growth strategies.
• Represent APX at industry conferences, AMAs, Telegram communities, and hackathons to increase brand visibility and network with potential partners and users.

Partnership Management

• Develop and execute partnership agreements, outlining clear objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics.
• Track and analyze partnership performance, identifying areas for optimization and growth.
• Proactively identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand APX's reach and influence within the DeFi space.

The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of proven experience in business development or partnerships within the perpetual DEX or futures industry. A deep understanding of DeFi protocols and perpetual DEXs is essential, along with a robust network of protocols, KOLs, and trading communities.

The selection process begins with a review of applications, followed by phone screenings to assess initial qualifications and cultural fit. Shortlisted candidates will participate in a series of interviews, including technical assessments and presentations, to evaluate their expertise, communication skills, and strategic thinking. Finally, successful candidates will undergo reference checks before receiving a formal offer.
