Job Description
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving enterprise growth within the retail sector by identifying, qualifying, and closing new accounts. You will develop strategic account plans, build a sustainable revenue pipeline, and manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new retail accounts with high growth potential.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs and position Quantum Metric's SaaS solutions effectively.
- Develop compelling business cases and demonstrate ROI to key stakeholders.
- Manage intricate sales cycles, building strong relationships with C-level executives and other decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing support.
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing complex deals within the retail industry.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS sales methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130,000 - $155,000
- OTE (On-Target Earnings) is double the base salary, with uncapped commissions.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, and unlimited paid time off.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven success in enterprise SaaS sales, consistently exceeding quotas and closing complex deals.
- Demonstrated experience selling solutions involving multiple stakeholders and navigating lengthy sales cycles.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise SaaS sales methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence C-level executives.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales automation tools.
Preferred:
- Experience selling to the retail industry.
- Existing network of contacts within the retail sector.
- Familiarity with digital experience analytics and customer journey optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue Growth: Identify, qualify, and close new retail accounts within assigned territory, exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop Strategic Account Plans: Create and execute tailored account plans for key retail prospects, outlining strategies to penetrate target accounts and build long-term relationships.
- Solution Selling: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client needs and effectively position Quantum Metric's SaaS solutions as the optimal solution for their business challenges.
- Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Navigate intricate sales processes involving multiple stakeholders across various levels within retail organizations, ensuring smooth transitions and timely closures.
- Build Business Value: Collaborate with clients to develop compelling business cases that demonstrate the tangible ROI of Quantum Metric's solutions, highlighting key benefits and addressing specific pain points.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within retail accounts, fostering trust and driving ongoing engagement.
Selection Process

Phone Screening: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a 30-minute phone interview with a recruiter to assess their communication skills, motivation, and alignment with Quantum Metric's values.
Technical Assessment: Candidates will complete a technical assessment evaluating their understanding of SaaS sales methodologies, product knowledge, and ability to analyze customer needs.
Virtual Interviews: Top performers will participate in two virtual interviews:
- Behavioral Interview: Led by a hiring manager, this interview will assess the candidate's experience handling complex sales cycles, building relationships, and navigating stakeholder management.
- Case Study Interview: Candidates will present a solution to a simulated business challenge, demonstrating their strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and presentation skills.
Final Decision: The hiring team will review all interview feedback and assessment results to make a final decision.
