UX/UI Designer

Your Role
As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting accessible and intuitive user experiences for our diverse clientele. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust systems, user journeys, and bring innovative ideas to life.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Advocate for user needs and accessibility throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design for both B2B and B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and UI design principles.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, and Atomic Design Methodology.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and WCAG guidelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design for both B2B and B2C environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in UX research methodologies, UI design principles, wireframing, and flow creation.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma and FigJam, with a strong understanding of Atomic Design Methodology and component libraries.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and WCAG guidelines for accessible design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects.
Preferred:
- Experience working with clients in government, healthcare, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of data visualization and its application in UX design.
- Experience with prototyping tools and agile development methodologies.
Design & Development
- Conceptualize and design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and optimize user flows.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Client Collaboration
- Act as the primary design point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into user-centered solutions.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to clients, gathering feedback and iterating on designs accordingly.
- Effectively communicate design rationale and technical considerations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Process & Innovation
- Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Egen's design system and style guide.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the ideation process for new products and features.
Selection Process
