The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that drive our platform's success.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant applications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous peer reviews, testing, and automation.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in either Frontend (React, Typescript, HTML, Javascript, CSS) or Backend (C#/.NET, Typescript, GraphQL, DynamoDB, MySQL) technologies.
- Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (preferred) or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Frontend Specialists:
- Experience with GraphQL clients like Apollo.
- Familiarity with monorepo build systems (NX) and reusable React components.
Backend Specialists:
- Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Expertise in efficient data management and seamless communication between front-end and server.
Compensation
$143,000 - $163,000 per year.
Qualifications
We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer II to join our growing team at Wealth.com. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in software development.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in either Frontend technologies (React, Typescript, HTML, Javascript, CSS) or Backend technologies (C#/.NET, Typescript, GraphQL, DynamoDB, MySQL).
- System Design: A strong understanding of system design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with cloud platforms, with preference given to AWS.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Frontend Specialists:
- Experience with GraphQL clients like Apollo.
- Proficiency with monorepo build systems (e.g., NX).
- Experience developing reusable React components.
Backend Specialists:
- Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Expertise in efficient data management strategies.
- Proven ability to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for Wealth.com's estate planning platform.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
