The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that drive our platform's success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant applications.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous peer reviews, testing, and automation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in either Frontend (React, Typescript, HTML, Javascript, CSS) or Backend (C#/.NET, Typescript, GraphQL, DynamoDB, MySQL) technologies.
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (preferred) or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Frontend Specialists:

• Experience with GraphQL clients like Apollo.
• Familiarity with monorepo build systems (NX) and reusable React components.

Backend Specialists:

• Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Expertise in efficient data management and seamless communication between front-end and server.

Compensation

$143,000 - $163,000 per year.

• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in software development.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in either Frontend technologies (React, Typescript, HTML, Javascript, CSS) or Backend technologies (C#/.NET, Typescript, GraphQL, DynamoDB, MySQL).
• System Design: A strong understanding of system design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with cloud platforms, with preference given to AWS.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Frontend Specialists:

• Experience with GraphQL clients like Apollo.
• Proficiency with monorepo build systems (e.g., NX).
• Experience developing reusable React components.

Backend Specialists:

• Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
