Your Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining core application features. You will work closely with the team to develop robust APIs, server components, and responsive, accessible UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core application features using Next.js
• Develop and maintain robust APIs and server components
• Work with Supabase (PostgreSQL) to design data models, queries, and implement role-based access policies
• Build user interfaces with React, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui, ensuring responsiveness and maintainability
• Integrate with AI and automation frameworks
• Contribute to ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the platform

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Strong expertise in React and Next.js
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase) and ORMs
• Knowledge of API design and modern state management (TanStack Query or similar)
• Understanding of authentication/authorization flows
• Familiarity with automated testing and debugging complex workflows

Location

This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates based in the EU or UK.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven Track Record: 5+ years of demonstrable experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on building and maintaining complex web applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of React and Next.js frameworks, including experience with TypeScript.
• Database Expertise: Solid understanding of SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and Supabase, including experience with data modeling, querying, and role-based access control.
• API Development: Proven ability to design and develop robust APIs, adhering to best practices and utilizing modern state management solutions like TanStack Query.
• Security & Authentication: Knowledge of authentication and authorization flows, ensuring secure user access and data protection.
• Testing & Debugging: Experience with automated testing methodologies and the ability to effectively debug complex workflows.

Preferred:

• Experience integrating with AI and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui for UI development.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience working in a remote, collaborative environment.

Technical Development

• Design, develop, and maintain core application features using Next.js.
• Build robust APIs and server components, ensuring efficient data handling and communication.
• Design and implement Supabase (PostgreSQL) data models, write optimized queries, and manage role-based access policies.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces using React, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui.

Integration and Automation

• Integrate the platform with AI and automation frameworks, enhancing functionality and user experience.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Debug and resolve complex workflows, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.

Platform Optimization

• Continuously evaluate and improve the platform's performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the team to identify areas for optimization and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.

Aguru UK is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their remote team. Interested candidates will submit their resume and cover letter through the job portal. Aguru UK will review applications and select candidates for a technical phone screening. This initial conversation will assess the candidate's technical skills and experience. Shortlisted candidates will then participate in a virtual coding challenge to demonstrate their abilities in a practical setting.
