The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in generating new leads and driving revenue growth for Colibri Group.
Responsibilities
- Initiate 40+ outbound calls daily to potential clients at top financial services firms.
- Qualify leads, schedule product demonstrations and webinars, and secure enrollments.
- Customize messaging to effectively target various firm sizes, specialties, and training objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity records within our CRM system.
- Collaborate with senior sales team members and marketing to refine lead generation strategies.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales or lead generation (experience in education or financial services is a plus).
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to handle high call volumes and effectively address objections.
- Familiarity with financial planning and/or the CFPA designation is preferred.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Required:
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in B2B sales or lead generation. Experience in the education or financial services industry is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead qualification, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Motivation & Drive: Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with financial planning concepts and/or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Daily Activities
- Initiate 40+ outbound calls daily to potential clients within the financial services industry.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and identifying potential fit for Colibri Group's offerings.
- Schedule product demonstrations and webinars for qualified leads.
- Secure enrollments for Colibri Group's educational programs.
Strategic Engagement
- Adapt communication strategies to effectively target various firm sizes, specialties, and training objectives.
- Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with senior sales team members and marketing professionals to refine lead generation strategies and improve overall sales performance.
Selection Process
