Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Enterprise API Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle for CoinGecko's API offerings, targeting key enterprise clients. You will leverage your technical understanding and consultative approach to identify client needs, present tailored solutions, and build lasting relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, consistently exceeding individual sales targets.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the value of CoinGecko's API solutions.
- Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements and business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive offerings within the cryptocurrency and API space.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of proven experience driving Enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
- Solid understanding of CoinGecko's products and API offerings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sales lifecycle, sales funnel, and qualification techniques.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) to manage leads and sales activities.
- Foundational understanding of or strong interest in API products and the SaaS business model.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial mindset.
Compensation:
- Transparent salaries with a level structure.
- L2 Annual OTE (40-60 base/commission split):
- Malaysia OTE: RM172,908
- Singapore OTE: S$112,413
- Comprehensive insurance coverage, virtual share options, bonus, and other benefits.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven success in driving Enterprise SaaS sales, consistently exceeding targets.
- Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of CoinGecko's products and API offerings, including their functionalities and value propositions.
- Sales Acumen: Comprehensive knowledge of the sales lifecycle, sales funnel, and effective qualification techniques.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience utilizing a CRM system (e.g., HubSpot) to manage leads, track sales activities, and analyze performance.
- Industry Knowledge: Foundational understanding of API products and the SaaS business model, or a strong demonstrable interest in learning.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
- Mindset: Demonstrated leadership qualities, entrepreneurial spirit, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
- Experience selling to the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Revenue Growth: Manage the full sales cycle for CoinGecko's Enterprise API solutions, consistently exceeding individual sales targets and contributing to overall revenue growth.
- Build and Cultivate Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at target enterprises, understanding their business needs and technical requirements.
- Consultative Selling: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the value proposition of CoinGecko's API solutions and addressing client pain points.
- Identify and Capitalize on Opportunities: Proactively identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, maximizing revenue potential.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies within the cryptocurrency and API space.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing support.
Selection Process
CoinGecko - Enterprise API Sales Representative Selection Process
1. Application Review: Candidates will be screened based on their resume and cover letter, focusing on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
2. Phone Screening: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a 30-minute phone interview to assess their communication skills, understanding of the role, and motivation.
3. Technical Assessment: Candidates will complete a technical assessment to evaluate their knowledge of API products, SaaS business models, and sales methodologies.
4. Video Interview: Top candidates will participate in a 1-hour video interview with the hiring manager and/or team members to delve deeper into their experience, skills, and cultural fit.
5. Final Interview: Finalists will be invited for a final in-person or video interview with senior leadership to discuss their career aspirations and alignment with CoinGecko's vision.
6. Offer & Onboarding: Successful candidates will receive a formal offer outlining compensation and benefits. Upon acceptance, a comprehensive onboarding process will be initiated.
