Developer Relations Engineer (LATAM Focus)

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Developer Relations Engineer to focus on building and nurturing relationships with developers in the LATAM region. You will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of Arbitrum's Layer 2 solutions through engaging workshops, creating compelling technical content, and actively participating in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with developers in the LATAM region.
  • Design and deliver technical workshops and training sessions to educate developers on Arbitrum's capabilities.
  • Create high-quality technical documentation, tutorials, and blog posts to support developers.
  • Contribute to the open-source ecosystem by developing and maintaining tools and resources.
  • Gather valuable feedback from developers and effectively communicate it to product and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align developer outreach strategies with overall business goals.
  • Track and analyze key developer engagement metrics to measure program effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Python, Go, Rust, Java).
  • Solid understanding of Solidity and blockchain technology, particularly EVM solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Fluency in Spanish: Essential for effective communication and engagement with the LATAM developer community.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Python, Go, Rust, Java) and a strong understanding of Solidity.
  • Blockchain Expertise: Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) solutions, and Layer 2 scaling concepts.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Experience in developer relations, community building, or technical evangelism within the blockchain space.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, particularly within the Ethereum ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation creation and content development.

Developer Relations Engineer (LATAM-focused)

Community Engagement

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with developers in the LATAM region.
  • Organize and lead workshops, hackathons, and other events to promote Arbitrum's Layer 2 solutions.
  • Actively participate in relevant online communities and forums, providing technical support and guidance.

Technical Enablement

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, and guides for developers.
  • Develop and deliver engaging technical content, such as blog posts, videos, and webinars, to educate developers on Arbitrum's capabilities.
  • Contribute to the open-source ecosystem by developing and maintaining tools and libraries that enhance the Arbitrum developer experience.

Feedback & Collaboration

  • Gather valuable feedback from developers regarding Arbitrum's products and services.
  • Relay developer insights and suggestions to the product and engineering teams to inform future development.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure developer outreach initiatives align with overall strategic goals.
  • Track and analyze key developer engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of outreach programs.

Selection Process
