About the Role
This is not your typical marketing role. As CMO, you will be a storyteller, a strategist, and a leader, shaping the narrative of Logos and inspiring global action. You will translate our mission into tangible momentum, building a powerful cultural signal that attracts supporters, volunteers, and allies to our cause.
Responsibilities
- Narrative & Strategy: Define and lead Logos' global marketing and communications strategy, ensuring a cohesive narrative aligned with our mission and manifesto.
- Movement-Building: Inspire participation through impactful campaigns that translate our vision into clear calls to action, fostering global communities of volunteers, supporters, and local organizers.
- Leadership & Team Building: Lead and scale a high-performing communications and marketing team, effectively managing strategy, budgets, and resources.
- Campaigns & Outreach: Design and execute compelling campaigns that mobilize people, amplify our humanitarian aims, and expand donations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading successful marketing and communications strategies for impactful movements or organizations.
- Exceptional storytelling and narrative development skills, with a deep understanding of how to connect with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to campaign planning and execution.
- Passion for the mission of Logos and a commitment to building a freer, fairer future.
Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with a proven track record of building and scaling movements.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and community engagement.
- Exceptional storytelling and narrative development skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling and accessible language.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion for decentralization, civil liberties, and building a more equitable future.
Preferred:
- Experience working with open-source projects or decentralized communities.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and Web3 concepts.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
Narrative & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing and communications strategy for Logos.
- Craft and maintain a consistent narrative that effectively communicates Logos' mission and values to diverse audiences.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Movement-Building
- Design and implement impactful campaigns that inspire action and mobilize individuals around Logos' vision.
- Cultivate and grow a global network of volunteers, supporters, and local organizers.
- Foster a strong sense of community and belonging within the Logos movement.
Leadership & Team Building
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing communications and marketing team.
- Delegate effectively, foster collaboration, and create a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement team training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Campaigns & Outreach
- Conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that raise awareness, generate engagement, and drive donations.
- Develop compelling content across various platforms (e.g., website, social media, email) to reach target audiences.
- Track campaign performance and analyze data to optimize strategies and maximize impact.
Selection Process
