Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Group Art Supervisor (GAS) to lead and inspire our creative design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute compelling artwork for integrated advertising campaigns.
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, ensuring projects are delivered on strategy, on time, and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative creative environment.
  • Develop creative solutions that effectively address client marketing challenges.
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure accurate content alignment with overall campaign strategy.
  • Oversee the quality and consistency of all agency creative output.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a creative or creative management role.
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality creative work.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $130,000 - $145,000 per year (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a creative or creative management role.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite on Mac.
  • Excellent creative presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is preferred.

Bonus:

  • Experience with healthcare marketing and branding.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles and brand identity.

Creative Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of designers, providing guidance and mentorship to foster creative growth and development.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and execute visually compelling artwork for integrated advertising campaigns across various media platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with account management and strategy teams to ensure creative solutions align with client objectives and brand guidelines.

Project Management

  • Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards.
  • Effectively manage project timelines, resources, and workflows to maintain efficiency and productivity within the design team.
  • Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges, implementing solutions to ensure smooth project execution.

Strategic Design

  • Develop innovative and impactful creative concepts that effectively communicate key messages and resonate with target audiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in design, ensuring creative output remains fresh, relevant, and strategically aligned.
  • Contribute to the development of creative briefs and presentations, effectively communicating design rationale and vision to clients and internal stakeholders.
