Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or DevSecOps.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing secure architectures for cloud-based systems.
• Demonstrated experience in intrusion detection, forensic investigation, and leading security incident response.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, principles, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling clear articulation of security requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or DevSecOps, with a proven track record of designing and implementing secure systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and best practices.
• Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation.

Security Architecture & Implementation

• Design and implement robust security architectures for both on-chain and off-chain components of the Ethena Labs platform.
• Develop and integrate security features into the platform's software development lifecycle.

Risk Management & Mitigation

• Conduct thorough threat modeling exercises to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Implement security hardening measures to minimize risk exposure.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify and address security weaknesses.

Incident Response & Forensics

• Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
• Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents and implement corrective actions.

Security Automation & Tooling

• Develop and maintain security tools and automation scripts to enhance security operations efficiency.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
