Job Description:

We're seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team of 20+ designers. You'll transform wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, ensuring they align with client brand guidelines and deliver a captivating user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Convert wireframes into visually stunning and user-friendly high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their design vision and incorporate their brand guidelines.
• Create style libraries, handover files, and utilize responsive autolayout in Figma.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and adherence to design principles.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including style libraries, handover files, and responsive autolayout.
• Strong understanding of design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate or better English proficiency.
• A portfolio showcasing at least two Figma projects is required.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Figma Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in Figma, including creating style libraries, handover files, and responsive autolayout.
• Design Adaptability: Ability to work within existing brand guidelines and design systems while maintaining a cohesive and impactful aesthetic.
• Strong Communication: Intermediate or better English language proficiency for effective collaboration within a remote team.
• Portfolio Submission: A portfolio showcasing at least two (2) completed Figma projects is required.

Preferred:

• Experience working with SaaS brands.
• Understanding of user research and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform Wireframes: Translate wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, ensuring visual appeal and user-friendliness.
• Adhere to Design Language: Meticulously implement client brand guidelines and house styles to maintain brand consistency.
• Create Design Assets: Develop style libraries, handover files, and responsive autolayout components within Figma.
• Collaborate Effectively: Work seamlessly within a team of designers, contributing to brainstorming sessions and design critiques.
• Iterate and Refine: Embrace feedback and iterate on designs to achieve optimal user experience and visual impact.
• Communicate Clearly: Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to team members and clients.

Spiralyze UI/UX Designer Selection Process

Application Review:

• Candidates will be screened based on their resume, cover letter, and portfolio.
• Focus will be on relevant experience, Figma proficiency, and design aesthetic alignment with Spiralyze's style.

Initial Interview:

• A 30-minute video call with a member of the design team to discuss the candidate's experience, design process, and motivation for joining Spiralyze.

Design Challenge:

• Short, focused design task based on a real-world project scenario. This allows for a practical assessment of the candidate's skills and problem-solving abilities.

Final Interview:

• A 60-minute video call with the hiring manager and a senior designer to discuss the design challenge, candidate's portfolio in detail, and cultural fit within the team.

Decision & Offer:

• The hiring team will review all materials and make a final decision.
• Successful candidates will receive a formal offer outlining compensation, benefits, and start date.
