About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our payments team. You will play a pivotal role in crafting our user-focused, modern payments and banking platform, building innovative solutions that empower our merchants and their customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate product requirements into technical designs.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend components using React.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our web platform.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience building complex, scalable web applications with a strong focus on user experience.
• Proven expertise in React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.).
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and consuming data from backend services.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

Desirable:

• Experience with TypeScript or other static typing systems.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
• Experience with build tools like Webpack or Parcel.
