Image Contributor for UPI Payment QR Code Photos
About the Project:
Contribute to the advancement of image recognition technology by capturing high-quality images of UPI payment QR codes. Your contributions will help train AI models to accurately recognize and process these codes.
Responsibilities:
- Capture clear, unique images of UPI payment QR codes using your smartphone's rear camera.
- Adhere to specific guidelines regarding image resolution, distance, and angle.
- Submit captured images through the Appen Mobile App.
Requirements:
- Own a smartphone with a stable internet connection.
- Reside in India.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
Compensation:
- $0.50 USD per accepted image.
- Payment is issued only for images that successfully pass quality assurance (QA).
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Smartphone: Possess a smartphone with a rear camera capable of capturing high-resolution images.
- Internet Access: Have a reliable internet connection for image submission through the Appen Mobile App.
- Location: Reside in India.
- Age: Be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with UPI payment systems and QR code usage.
- Experience capturing clear and well-lit images.
Image Capture
- Photograph UPI payment QR codes using a smartphone camera.
- Adhere to provided guidelines regarding image resolution, distance from the QR code, and camera angle.
- Ensure images are clear, well-lit, and accurately capture the QR code.
Image Submission
- Upload captured images through the Appen Mobile App.
- Accurately label and categorize images according to provided instructions.
- Maintain a consistent and timely submission schedule.
Selection Process
Interested candidates apply through the Appen platform, providing basic information and confirming they meet the required skills. Appen reviews applications, prioritizing those residing in India and possessing a smartphone with a stable internet connection. Shortlisted candidates receive an invitation to complete a brief online assessment, testing their understanding of image capture guidelines. Successful candidates are then onboarded to the Appen Mobile App, where they begin contributing images. Each image undergoes a quality assurance process before payment is issued at $0.50 USD per accepted image.
