Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and securing our cloud-based cryptocurrency platforms. You will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive DevOps strategy to ensure scalability, uptime, and security.
• Overseeing cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization on AWS.
• Implementing observability tools, automated workflows, and data visualization solutions.
• Conducting security audits, enforcing compliance, and implementing data protection best practices.
• Leading incident resolution efforts and driving improvements through post-mortem reviews.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices, including GitOps, CI/CD methodologies, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Proficiency in workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and event-driven architectures using Kafka and AWS Lambda.
• Expertise in monitoring and visualization tools, including Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Apache Superset.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience: 7+ years of proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
• Cloud Expertise: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• DevOps Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical application of DevOps principles, including GitOps, CI/CD methodologies, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Automation & Orchestration: Expertise in workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka and AWS Lambda.
• Monitoring & Visualization: Demonstrated proficiency in monitoring and visualization tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Apache Superset.
• Security & Compliance: Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and data protection measures within a cloud environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain Echo Base's cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.

DevOps Automation

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management tasks.
• Integrate monitoring and logging tools into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous feedback and issue detection.

Security & Compliance

• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Implement security best practices and policies to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Monitoring & Observability

• Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to track system health and performance.
• Utilize data visualization tools to analyze system metrics and identify trends.
• Drive proactive issue resolution and performance optimization based on monitoring data.
