Catalant is seeking a talented and experienced Senior AI Engineer to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of AI-driven features that enhance our platform and internal workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure the AI data infrastructure meets evolving needs.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI projects, from planning and execution to deployment and monitoring.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, design, data analytics, and business systems, to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years specializing in generative AI and ML systems.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing AI solutions to production in an enterprise setting.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into responsive, real-time applications.
• Familiarity with genAI design patterns, such as RAG, agentic systems, and model fine-tuning.
• Strong Python fluency and expertise in one or more gen AI frameworks.
• Experience working with relational and vector databases, including MySQL and Databricks.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years specifically focused on developing and deploying generative AI and machine learning systems in enterprise settings.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proven ability to integrate Large Language Model (LLM) APIs into responsive, real-time applications.
  • Deep understanding of genAI design patterns, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic systems, and model fine-tuning.
  • Strong Python fluency and proficiency with at least one generative AI framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience working with relational and vector databases, including MySQL and Databricks.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to own the full lifecycle of AI projects, from planning and requirements gathering to execution and deployment.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work cross-functionally with product, design, data analytics, and business systems teams.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with Flask framework and related technologies (docker, Elasticsearch, VueJS).

Technical Development

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features that enhance the Catalant platform and internal workflows.
• Build and maintain robust AI models utilizing generative AI and machine learning techniques.
• Integrate Large Language Model (LLM) APIs into real-time applications, ensuring seamless user experience.
• Contribute to the evolution of the data infrastructure, collaborating with data engineering to optimize data pipelines for AI applications.

Project Management & Collaboration

• Lead the full lifecycle of AI projects, from conceptualization and planning to execution and deployment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, design, data analytics, and business systems, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends, identifying opportunities to leverage them for Catalant's benefit.
• Document and communicate technical findings and project progress effectively to stakeholders.
