Job Description

QA Analyst - Supply Chain Logistics

City Electric Supply (CES), a leading family-owned electrical wholesaler with over 65 years of experience and 7,400 employees worldwide, is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate QA Analyst to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our Supply Chain Logistics software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough testing coverage and alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of automated testing frameworks and processes using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.
  • Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in exploring and implementing AI and machine learning technologies to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI-enhanced testing practices is a plus.

Compensation: $68,000 - $110,000 per year.

Physical Demands: This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing, with the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of proven experience in software testing or quality assurance is essential.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using test case management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI-enhanced testing practices is a plus.

  • Analyze and Report Test Results: Generate detailed reports summarizing test findings, including defect trends, test coverage metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay Current with Industry Best Practices: Continuously research and implement emerging testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to optimize testing processes and ensure alignment with industry standards.
