About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior AI Engineer to join our Agentic team and contribute to the development of APA (Application Performance Agent). APA is an innovative system that not only detects application performance issues but proactively resolves them by integrating with observability stacks and leveraging Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced AI algorithms for automated application performance optimization, scaling, and security.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate APA with diverse observability tools and Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to the development of robust and scalable AI models for real-time performance analysis and anomaly detection.
• Stay abreast of cutting-edge AI research and best practices in cloud infrastructure management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications in cloud computing.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, particularly in areas like anomaly detection, predictive modeling, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience working with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with observability tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and implement core algorithms and functionalities for APA, focusing on agentic behavior and proactive issue resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of APA's performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate APA with various observability stacks and Kubernetes environments.

Research & Innovation

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and observability technologies.
• Explore and experiment with novel techniques to enhance APA's capabilities and address emerging challenges.
• Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities that align with Cast AI's product vision.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of APA with overall product strategy.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and progress updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
