About Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT)

Job Summary
As a Primary Coach, you will play a vital role in guiding a portfolio of undergraduate Fellows through MLT's Career Prep curriculum. You will provide personalized coaching, facilitate engaging workshops, and support Fellows in achieving their career goals.
Responsibilities
- Coach Fellows through MLT's Career Prep curriculum, providing guidance on resume development, interview preparation, and internship/job selection strategies.
- Track and manage Fellow progress, outcomes, and qualitative insights.
- Design and facilitate engaging content for virtual and in-person seminars and webinars.
- Provide targeted advising to Fellows, addressing individual needs and challenges.
- Monitor Fellow engagement and proactively intervene when necessary to ensure they stay on track.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Consulting with a proven record of success.
- Demonstrated understanding of the bar for success in top private-sector organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Proven ability to build meaningful relationships and foster a supportive coaching environment.
- Experience tracking and reporting data; experience using Salesforce is a plus.
- Passion for coaching college students and/or professionals.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Consulting with a proven record of strong professional achievements.
Skills:
- Demonstrated understanding of the bar for success in top private-sector organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build meaningful, quality relationships.
- Experience tracking and reporting data; experience using Salesforce is a plus.
- Passion for and track record of coaching college students and/or professionals.
Note: This is a part-time, remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fellow Coaching & Development: Provide individualized coaching and guidance to a designated cohort of undergraduate Fellows throughout MLT's Career Prep curriculum. This includes facilitating workshops, providing feedback on resumes and cover letters, and offering personalized advice on internship and job search strategies.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze Fellow progress, identifying areas of strength and areas requiring additional support. Maintain accurate records of Fellow outcomes and provide regular reports to MLT leadership.
- Curriculum Enhancement: Contribute to the development and refinement of MLT's Career Prep curriculum by providing insights from coaching sessions and identifying emerging trends in the job market.
- Community Building: Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment for Fellows through virtual and in-person events, group discussions, and peer mentorship opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with MLT program staff, partner organizations, and employer representatives to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for Fellows.
Selection Process
MLT Primary Coach Career Prep Hiring Workflow
1. Application Review: Candidates submit resumes and cover letters outlining their experience and passion for coaching.
2. Phone Screening: Qualified applicants participate in a 30-minute phone interview to assess their communication skills, understanding of MLT's mission, and relevant experience.
3. Skills Assessment: Shortlisted candidates complete a skills assessment focusing on coaching techniques, data analysis, and curriculum development.
4. Virtual Interview: Top candidates participate in a virtual interview with the hiring manager and a team member, delving deeper into their coaching style, experience with diverse populations, and alignment with MLT's values.
5. Reference Checks: Finalists undergo reference checks to verify their professional experience and interpersonal skills.
6. Offer & Onboarding: The selected candidate receives a formal offer and embarks on a comprehensive onboarding program to integrate into the MLT team.
