About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our robust backend infrastructure. You will collaborate with a talented team to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable code, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement backend features using Ruby on Rails.
• Contribute to the analysis, design, and improvement of the site architecture.
• Translate product requirements into well-engineered, low-defect code.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance architecture, user experience, and development processes.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot systems issues, and ensure code base security.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and regression testing to maintain code quality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years of experience using Ruby and Rails in a production environment.
• Proven experience with PostgreSQL and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, mobile app development, and client-server interactions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications using Ruby on Rails in a production environment.
• Proven experience working with PostgreSQL and designing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, testing methodologies, and version control.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and a basic understanding of mobile app development and client-server interactions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities
