Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in securing our platform and protecting our users. You will own and operate our Security Operations (SecOps) and SOAR platforms, design and implement detection pipelines, and lead initiatives to harden our security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Own and operate SecOps and SOAR platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Design and implement detection pipelines to surface high-fidelity security alerts.
- Lead initiatives to harden endpoints, SaaS controls, and workforce identity systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate security into the SDLC and product architecture.
- Leverage AI, scripting, and automation to reduce toil and scale the security function.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in detection and response engineering, security automation, or security operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud-native services (AWS/GCP), SOAR tools, endpoint agents, and identity protocols.
- Experience building pipelines that ingest, enrich, and route data to security platforms.
- Curiosity and passion for threat modelling, attack simulation, and adversary behavior.

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a security operations, detection and response, security automation, or related field.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and operating security tools and platforms, including SOAR solutions, endpoint agents, and cloud-native security services (AWS/GCP).
- Strong understanding of security protocols, threat modeling, and adversary behavior.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines for security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms.
- Familiarity with container security and DevSecOps practices.
- Certifications in relevant security domains (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Operations: Own and manage the Security Operations (SecOps) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Threat Detection & Response: Design, implement, and maintain detection pipelines to identify and surface high-fidelity security alerts, enabling timely and accurate threat response.
- Security Hardening: Lead initiatives to strengthen security posture across various domains, including endpoints, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, and workforce identity systems.
- Security Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate security considerations into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and product architecture.
- Automation & Efficiency: Leverage artificial intelligence (AI), scripting, and automation technologies to streamline security processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the scalability of the security function.
