Senior Compliance Operations Specialist

Ethena Labs is revolutionizing decentralized finance with innovative products like a synthetic dollar protocol and tokenized treasury infrastructure. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Compliance Operations Specialist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to refine and execute daily onboarding, due diligence, and investigation processes.
- Manage investor and partner onboarding workflows, including document review and risk assessment.
- Lead the intake and coordination of external compliance and due diligence requests.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the investor whitelisting lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for compliance operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in crypto compliance operations, including KYC/AML onboarding and blockchain investigations.
- In-depth understanding of corporate onboarding workflows and AML compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage tasks and timelines within a globally distributed team.
- Proficiency with compliance tooling and a strong technical aptitude.
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in compliance operations, specifically within the cryptocurrency industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing KYC/AML onboarding processes and conducting blockchain investigations.
- In-depth understanding of relevant compliance frameworks, including AML/CFT regulations and sanctions screening.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise documentation and stakeholder interaction.
- Proficiency in using compliance software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with investor due diligence and whitelisting processes.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols and tokenized assets.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE).
Onboarding and Due Diligence
- Execute and refine daily onboarding, due diligence, and investigation processes under the guidance of the Compliance Manager.
- Manage the investor and partner onboarding workflow, including document review and risk identification.
- Coordinate the intake and response to external compliance and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
Investor Management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the investor whitelisting lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for all compliance operations inquiries.
Compliance Support
- Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and industry best practices in the DeFi space.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across all company operations.
Selection Process
