Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer - Rust

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure tools and services using Rust.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Rust.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).
  • Expertise in containerization, orchestration, and observability tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus).
  • A passion for reliability, automation, and building elegant internal tooling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who is passionate about building and maintaining robust, scalable systems.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related infrastructure engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in Rust and a demonstrated ability to design and implement infrastructure tools and services.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent) and deploying applications at scale.
  • Deep understanding of containerization, orchestration, and observability tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Proven ability to automate infrastructure tasks and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on clear documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Development & Maintenance:

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure tools and services using Rust.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.

System Reliability & Performance:

  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of infrastructure systems.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential infrastructure bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure resources (AWS, GCP, or similar) to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices within the cloud environment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Developer Experience & Tooling:

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal developer tools and workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to developers regarding infrastructure-related issues.
  • Foster a culture of automation and efficiency within the engineering team.
