Job Description

As a Personalized Internet Assessor, you will play a crucial role in improving the user experience for millions of search engine users. You will analyze and provide feedback on a variety of content, including texts, pages, images, and other information, using an online tool. Your ratings and insights will help refine search results for relevance and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Review and rate search results for accuracy, relevance, and overall quality.
• Provide constructive feedback on content to enhance user experience.
• Analyze and understand diverse content types, including text, images, and multimedia.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of current and historical US business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs.
• Active user of Gmail, Google+, and other social media platforms.
• Familiarity with web browsers and various content types.
• Reliable access to broadband internet, a smartphone, and a personal computer.

Compensation:

• Estimated hourly earnings: $14 USD per hour.

Additional Information:

• No prior professional experience required.
• Must pass a language assessment and open book qualification exam.
• ID verification is required.
• This is a part-time, long-term freelance project with standard quality assurance checks.

Qualifications

• Be an active user of Gmail, Google+, and other social media platforms.
• Have experience navigating web browsers and interacting with various content types.
• Maintain reliable daily access to a broadband internet connection, smartphone, and personal computer.

Additionally, successful candidates will:

• Pass a language assessment and an open-book qualification exam.
• Complete identity verification procedures.

• Stay Updated: Maintain familiarity with current US trends and information across various domains, including business, media, sports, news, social media, and culture.
• Adhere to Guidelines: Strictly follow provided guidelines and quality assurance standards to ensure accurate and consistent assessments.

TELUS Digital: Personalized Internet Assessor (Freelance) - Selection Process

Step 1: Application Review:

Interested candidates submit their applications through the TELUS Digital AI Community portal. Applications are screened based on required skills and experience outlined in the job description.

Step 2: Language Assessment:

Shortlisted candidates complete an online language assessment to evaluate their English proficiency.

Step 3: Qualification Exam:

Candidates who pass the language assessment take an open-book qualification exam covering US business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs.

Step 4: ID Verification:

Successful exam candidates undergo ID verification to ensure authenticity and compliance.

Step 5: Onboarding:

Selected candidates receive onboarding materials and instructions on accessing the online rating platform. They are then assigned tasks and begin contributing to the TELUS Digital AI Community.

This streamlined process ensures a fair and efficient selection of qualified US Raters for TELUS Digital.
