Gallagher is seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our platform team as a Software Quality Assurance Trainee. What You'll Do:

• Learn and apply software testing concepts.
• Support test execution and contribute to ensuring applications meet established quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve software defects.

Who We're Looking For:

• Recent graduate or current student pursuing a B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science), graduating in 2024, with a minimum CGPA of 6.5.
• QA certification or prior trainee-level experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive learning mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Qualifications

Education:

• Recently completed or currently pursuing a B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science) degree.
• Graduation expected in 2024.
• Minimum CGPA of 6.5.

Experience:

• QA certification or prior trainee-level experience in software testing is an advantage.

Skills:

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive learning mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Trainee SQA Engineer Responsibilities

• Participate in software testing activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in the creation and execution of test cases, covering various aspects of application functionality.
• Log and track software defects, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to understand application requirements and identify potential testing scenarios.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.
• Actively participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.
