Job Description

Trainee – Revenue Recognition

JLL is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee – Revenue Recognition. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in revenue accounting within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly revenue close process, including preparing journal entries, conducting reconciliations, and generating related reports.
  • Analyze contracts and perform preliminary revenue recognition assessments, preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and other applicable guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Manager on complex contracts and cases requiring further analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes, drafting memos and contract summaries as needed.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15 / Ind AS 115).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Details:

  • Location: On-site, Gurugram, Haryana
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in revenue accounting or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15 / Ind AS 115).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Other Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Selection Process

JLL is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Trainee – Revenue Recognition position in Gurugram.
