About the Role

Payoneer is seeking enthusiastic and self-driven Software Engineering Interns to join our growing team in Gurugram. This is a 6-month, on-site opportunity for individuals eager to learn and contribute to large-scale applications and frameworks.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will:

• Collaborate with the team to translate requirements into impactful product features.
• Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code for web and mobile applications.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance product quality and functionality.
• Assist in feature benchmarking, optimization, and performance improvements.
• Support the development of distributed systems and transaction processing.
• Create automated test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Identify and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and apply them to product development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related program at a Tier 1 institute.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
• Solid problem-solving skills and logical reasoning ability.
• Good understanding of programming principles, particularly object-oriented concepts.
• Practical coding experience through projects, hackathons, or programming contests.
• A strong learning mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field at a Tier 1 institute.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Other Requirements:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated passion for technology and software development.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
