Cargill is seeking highly motivated and talented Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to cutting-edge projects within a global leader in food, agriculture, financial, and industrial products.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Engineering or Technology, specializing in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Computing, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date by June 2026.
• University/institute approval letter required.
• Availability for a 5-6 month internship from early January 2026 to the end of June 2026.
• Willingness to work on-site several days a week at the Bengaluru Capability Center.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Exposure to commercial software product development.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

Required:

Software Development

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software applications within a team environment.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for software components and functionalities.
• Assist in identifying and resolving software defects and bugs.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to software development.

Project Support

• Assist project managers in tracking project progress, identifying potential roadblocks, and contributing to project documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Contribute to the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria for software features.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders.

Cargill seeks a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join its Bengaluru Capability Center. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's program, graduating by June 2026, and possess a foundational understanding of programming, system design, databases, and business principles.

The selection process begins with a review of applications to ensure eligibility and alignment with the required qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a virtual interview to assess their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication style.

Selected candidates will then participate in a technical assessment, evaluating their coding proficiency and understanding of software engineering concepts. Finalists will be invited for a final interview with the hiring manager to discuss their career aspirations and fit within Cargill's culture.
