Qualifications

Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental security concepts such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with security incident response.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH).

Information Security Intern Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
